Capt. John Turner was early in Surry Co., VA. He owned property upper Chipoakes Creek. However his will of 13 Jan 1752 was in Nansemond County with his executors being James Holt of Norfolk County and Simon Turner of Southampton Co., VA. I research the Turners of Southampton Co. Simon did not have a son John. What is the connection of this John Turner to those in Southampton Co. and are the other early Turners in Surry Co. of this same family? Any help appreciated. Arlina
