I am researching the Edward Barnes (Elizabeth) family. Edward died about 1762. I wonder if the following inventory is for his grandson, Joshua Barnes, son of Jacob (Elizabeth) Barnes whose will was recorded 1796. I also have a West line from the marriage 17 May 1753 of Ann West, daughter of Joseph West, to Joseph Thorp. Their son John Thorp married Chariety Barrett, daughter of Edmond Barrett and Mary "Mollie" Barnes, daughter of the above mentioned Edward (Elizabeth) Barnes. Another of Edward Barnes' daughters, Martha "Patsy" Barnes married Shadrack Vick. Their daughter Temperance Vick married Thomas Fiers.
Records show a Joshua Barnes Inventory dated 11 May 1816, taken by John Kitchen, Jesse J. West, and James West. Joshua owned two trunks, one "toket" book, one testament, one cyphering book, one razor, and one something parcel. It was recorded 18 June 1820.
