Hello, I do not have the answer to your question, but I have a couple of suggestions. Contact the Walter Cecil Rawls / Blackwater Regional Library in Courtland, Va. 757-653-2821. They have several research documents on the Ridleys including some in the verticle files. You might consider joining the Southampton History Group, which is free. Send an email to SouthamptonHistory@yahoogroups.com to enroll. Once there you can post a message to the members. One of them will most likely have an answer to your question. Joe H.
