These are the entries from Chapman's Isle of Wight book. I think William is the father of Col John Lawrence since John is mentioned in his grandmother Ann APPLEWHAITE's 1746 will, his father's will 1756 given land in Southampton County, and then his mother Sarah APPLEWHAITE's 1762 will. Her parents are Henry and Ann. John married Mary BRIDGERS of James and Susanna at Isle of Wight. I don't have a death date for John, he is a collateral line for me.
