Hi Dee,
As I interpret the family structure revealed in the censuses of Peter Beller's Family in Surry County NC in 1786, & Stokes County in 1790, & the marriage records of Stokes County NC & Patrick County, VA, Peter Beller had four sons, Eli, Elijah, Elisha, & Elias and three daughters, Elizabeth, Phebe, & Mary - with Mary being the youngest, born in 1786. Therefore I think that Nancy, who was married in Partick County, VA, in 1815, was a daughter of one of Peter’s sons. Elisha married in 1795, followed by Elijah & Eli in 1796. Elias didn’t marry until 1805, & Elijah died before Sept 1801 – leaving two orphans named Peter & Elizabeth. So Nancy’s father could have been Elisha or Eli. Elisha was living in Patrick County, where Nancy was married, while Eli was listed in Stokes Co., in the 1810 census. This leads me to the conclusion that Nancy’s parents were Elisha Beller & his wife Ragel (sic) Harrison.
Are you a descendent of Nancy Beller & Benjamin Landrith?
