Elizabeth Eckles (born about 1810) was married to Ransom Hudgins and found in Nottoway in 1830 but moved on to Dinwiddie where they are found 1840,1860, 1870. Ransom is alone in 1880. They had at least four children: Branch P., Eliza F. Rollins, Ann O. McKinney and Richard R. Hudgins, according to Ransom's will. Richard R. married Martha Tucker in 1866. Eliza first married George Davis in 1866, but obviously married a Rollins later. We have not been able to establish who Ransom's parents were.
