Thomas Pollard, son of Joseph and Leah Morris Pollard
married 2 June 1781 to "Mary Pollard" (a cousin?)
married 4 July 1794 Mary Asselin. Thomas Jr had a brother named Francis Pollard who also named a son "Thomas Pollard and he married Keziah Hunt"

24 June 1791 Thomas Pollard named guardian of 4 orphans, children of his deceased brother, William Pollard.

Another THOMAS POLLARD son of Thomas Pollard Sr named in the will of father, Thomas Pollard (Sr.) of Amelia County,VA dated Nov 25,1788 along with siblings: JOHN, AMBROSE, JAMES, BENJAMIN, ZACHARIAH, C.BERRY, LUCY, and WILLIAM (who was deceased). In his will, Thomas Sr stated his son named "Thomas Pollard" had already received half his land (in Amelia) and was to receive the rest, and this son is supposedly the same Thomas Pollard that married on the first of Nove 1788 at Amelia, just 24 days prior to the written will of the father, to Dolly Robertson daughter of Tralucia Steger Robertson and Henry Robertson.(Dolly's brother, Warning Peter Robertson, was the bondman)

Dolly Robertson Pollards birth record is recorded in her brother, Edward Robertson's bible, housed at the DAR library, titled "Robertson's" Dolly's birth was April 25, 1768 Amelia Virginia, she died 7 of June 1836. Dolly Robertson and Thomas Pollard had one known daughter. Dolly married secondlyto Frederick Lester on 5 Sep 1797 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. In September 1798 at Lunenburg, Nathan Fletcher (who had married Dolly's sister), brought suit against his brother in law, Warning Peter Robertson, son of Henry Robertson, for his wife's share of the Henry & Tralucia Robertson estate. In this chancery court record, Dolly Robertson Pollard Lester is named. "that Dolly Lester, wife of Frederick Lester ... all children of said testator of his last wife..are all informed of their respective share..." So we know that Henry's daughter Dolly Robertson was the same woman "Dolly Robertson" who married Thomas Pollard first, and Frederick Lester secondly.

Frederick Lester and wife Dolly moved to Georgia, then to Lawrence County Alabama, and finally to Russelville, Franklin County Alabama where Frederick Lester died. He is buried at the Sargent Cemetery several miles from Russellville.
