I will amend a previous statement. Jane was possibly born in
1811, as consent given by father for her marriage in Sep 29.
The surname is SIRON...
There are lots of bad sources out there. Many of us, perhaps a dozen, have worked on his line for many years and
I think we have gotten it pretty well down now.
John Siron is buried in the Siron Cemetery in Highland Co.,
and his grave is marked by a rock. Most of the graves in this bisected-by-a-road cemetery are unmarked.
The Morton history is not so good on his Pioneer Families
section; he undertook more than he could handle and his informants were not too whippy.
I checked the IL Statewide marriages for Damron, let me
compare with you Zeuriah m David W. Browning; Amanda m Thos. G. Moore; Hester (Esther after gm?) m Edwd Harrison;
Joseph S m Martha A Caldwell; Lucy m Geo W Curry and Wm P
