I will amend a previous statement. Jane was possibly born in 1811, as consent given by father for her marriage in Sep 29. The surname is SIRON... There are lots of bad sources out there. Many of us, perhaps a dozen, have worked on his line for many years and I think we have gotten it pretty well down now. John Siron is buried in the Siron Cemetery in Highland Co., and his grave is marked by a rock. Most of the graves in this bisected-by-a-road cemetery are unmarked. The Morton history is not so good on his Pioneer Families section; he undertook more than he could handle and his informants were not too whippy. I checked the IL Statewide marriages for Damron, let me compare with you Zeuriah m David W. Browning; Amanda m Thos. G. Moore; Hester (Esther after gm?) m Edwd Harrison; Joseph S m Martha A Caldwell; Lucy m Geo W Curry and Wm P m 1)Catherine Biggs, 2)Edna Bonan, 3) Caroline Doy, 4)Mary Hancock. I have tons of data for you, so e-mail me please. John Siron s of Nathaniel Siron and Barbara Ann Zeigler. Nat'l son of Simon Siron & Anna Castle (Kassel). Anna likely dau of Yellis (Julius) Cassel who was son of Hupert Cassel and Syche (Cynthia) op den Gräff. Barbara Ann Zeigler dau of George Zeigler & Barbara Zimmermann. Esther Hiner Siron wife of John, eldest of 14 of John Hiner, Rev War vet, and Magdalena Burner. Mag dau of Jacob Burner & Magdalena Bumgarner...Have much more. talk to me Erik |
