May I make a suggestion? You might have better results if you separate these people out a bit. I have at least six direct lines in Henry Co, VA about the same time, 1770-1780s, but I do not lump them all together.

You might take the Hooker line, and give the name of the oldest one, his wife, any children you know, include any dates, or approximate dates on them, plus known locations.

Here is an example on one of my Henry Co, VA lines:

Jones, Thomas, and wife Mary - no dates, but children are:

Joseph, b 1756
Jemima, b 15 Aug 1761, md Wm Standefer, 1779, Henry Co, VA
Susannah, b 1765, md Wm Griffith, 1782, Henry Co, VA
Mary/Polly, b 1769; md Jacob Peak
Thomas, Jr, b 1771
Fanny, b 1773, md Abel Peak
Lydia, b 1776

Year of births from a Peak family Bible. Full date for Jemima from a Standefer Bible.

I have more in this family, but this keeps the post clean and simple. Brief mention of sources also shows I have some verified data. Now, if anyone uses the Search This Forum box and puts in any of these surnames they should find my query. In the subject box I might just put Thomas and Mary Jones ~ VA & TN. If after six months no replies, post again and try the surnames of Jones, Standefer, Peak, Griffith.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
