Do you have death date for Travis Tune? I am assuming that it is 1827 since that is when his will was recorded.

Do you have death date for James Travis/Traverse/Travenor Tune? I have his parents as Lewis Tune and Frances Lewis.
Several researchers have a death date of 1827 and his wife as Genavie. Are you absolutely positive that he married Millie Daniel?

You have provided some interesting information regarding Travis Tune's wife named Frances. Guess all of us who thought we were descended from James Travis Tune and Millie Daniel have to change our ancestry to Travis Tune-Frances Unknown. Won't be difficult for me since I didn't have any information on Millie other than her name and possible birth date.

In this post, you refer to the bible as that of his son John. In your Rootsweb database, you refer to the "John Brooks Tune" Family Bible. John Tune is my GGG grandfather. If you have documentation that he is John "Brooks", please share as I have never seen nor heard of him referred to as "John Brooks". George Tune who had possession of the Bible was the son of John Brooks Tune Jr, who was the son of John Brooks Tune Sr, who was the son of GGG Grandfather John.

Look forward to some clarification on this confusion of the Travises.

Thanks......Joannie
