Thanks for setting me straight on Emporia. Another family relative of mine, was asking me to search the Emporia area for any Dickerson ancestors who may have lived there during the late 1700's and through the 1800's. Do you know of anyone I could contact in that area who may work in a historical society or goes to the courthouse frequently? I have a message out on the "Dickerson" genforum as well. So far, no responses. Pat
