Thank you for your help.
For your knowledge, I am a Native AMerican Researcher, and a Descendant of the Cherokee-Powhatan-Shawnee- Salk & Fox- Lenni-Lenape-Chactaw-Chicamouga and etc. These all and each, tribes from the Algonquin Nation.

Today there are three registered Cherokee tribes in the hills of Virginia. There is the Mexican Cherokee and there are Cherokee in Canada.

In the Greensville area are descendants of the Saponi and Occaneechi who migrated there from the Virginia Piedmont, Gordonsville area.

My great grandfather William went by the nickname O B.

I have traced this line back generation to generation, to Gordonsville and Winchester. And the Indian village OPEQUON and Ireland.

They are from James and JOhm the Irish Immigrant brothers.
Chief John Ross was my GORDON's relative' and neighbor for fifty years. See; General John B Gordon's Memoirs..

A new line was started, LEE -GORDON.
See; Lee & Gordon Mill, Chicamouga, Georgia

See Captain John Gordon of Tennesee

See Powhatan Gordon ( another JOhn) his son

In your list is the Keetoowah If you are a member ask them about my family name: GORDON.

General Robert E Lee and General John B Gordon were first cousins.

You seem to; need some more information about the Cherokee.

Robert F Gordon started a school after the Civil War; in Hicksville,( now
Emporium) Greensville County. Do you know ANYTHING A about that?

Do you know anything about Jay Gordon, whom was really James Alfred Gordon? Of Gordon Trucking Company, Inc.?

And named his son
James Alfred Gordon.They are relatives.

Or, James Otis Gordon who went by the name Otis after he left South Dacota?

Thank you for your time.

Perhaps I can help you.
