Just came across an 1870 census listing what seems to be my Gregory family, even though there seems to be errors. Does anyone have access to land records for Greene County? Specifically searching for A.W.(Albert Watson/Washington) and Mary Gregory.Have searched extensively in Louisa and Hanover and am hopeful this is one of those long illusive clues as to where this family was in 1870. Happy to share if anyone is interested in my Gregory line or happy to do some lookups in western NC as a return favor. Thanks. Gail G.
