I'm looking for a connection to a Bazel Williams in Fairfax Co VA . In the 1700's, on Ox Road there was a Bazel Williams listed as being tithed for the road and then another year a Boswell Williams was listed on the same road with a similar description of the road. I'm wondering if anyone has any information on this Bazel or Boswell Williams? My G-Grandfather was Bazel Williams and he also used the name Boswell on his Civil War Records. I'm trying to find my ancestors. We feel they lived in Fairfax Co in the 1700's and early 1800's. Others that match our DNA had ancestors with the names Aler, Notley, and William Williams. Those names along with Bazel were on the early tax lists. My G-Grandfather, Bazel Williams' parents were John and Mary Williams, I'm wondering if he were named after a Grandfather, Bazel Williams. Would really appreciate any information that anyone may have.
