If William Luke or Luke Van Ausdal, various spellings, were to show up in a 1810 census he would be listed as a free white male 10 to 16 years, not by name. His father would be listed, but I do not know his father's name. I did pick up Luke Vanosdil in the 1820 Goshen, Belmont County, Ohio census; Luke Van Dleno in the 1830 Goshen, Belmont County, Ohio; Luke Van Deln in the 1830 Somerset, Belmont County, Ohio; William Vanausdol in the 1850 Licking County, Ohio; Luke Vanduzen in the 1870 Highland County, Ohio; Luke Vanausdol in the 1880 Jasper, Iowa; and Luke Vanausdal in the 1885 Jasper, Iowa.
