Debbie-

Thank you SO VERY MUCH !!!!! This information is so valuable to me, but it will take awhile to sort it all out. It agrees with what I have in my files for John, but there is another child or two not mentioned here, so I need to do some additional work on this branch. John Bicksler is actually a brother to my line, but my very first brick wall that I encountered some 20 years go is still unsolved and envolves this very family ! John Bicksler's brother, James T. had a grandson who became an orphan by the age of 4. His grandfather, James T. raised him. His name is John Paul Bicksler. He is a first cousin to my father and we have tried everything to locate what happened to him and his family. He went by his middle name Paul Bicksler and was born February 21, 1900 in Salem Iowa. I have followed him to Fargo North Dakota where he was still living in 1938. I have contacted everyone I can think of in North Dakota, and also Minnesota to no avail. John Paul married Adelade ??? and had two daughters, Pauline and Darlene. We can not find a trace of him after 1938, when he is found on the city directory as an electrician with a creamery on the other side of the river in Minnesota. Some researchers think the family may have gone to Canada. Long story, the mention at the end of your information of W Scott Bicksler living in Fall River, South Dakota bears following.

Anyway, thank you so very much for the tedious work you have done for me. I do so appreciate it. I would love to get to Fairfax County one day and take a look at the land.
