Libby, Bicksler Court and Bicksler Drive are located in the Town of Herndon, VA, which is just south of Dranesville. I understand from your post that John Bicksler died still possessed of the land, which means that someone inherited the land, or his executors were directed to sell the land to pay debts. Do you have John Bicksler's will? What was to be done with the land? If you give me additional information, I'll see if I can figure out who obtained the land. I don't know of anyone you could hire to do more extensive research. I doubt the courthouse would do this service. They would probably refer you to a title company...but I'll see if I can figure out the easy stuff so you don't have to pay anyone. Was John Bicksler married? Name of wife? Name of hiers? Middle name for John Bicksler? I ask this because there were a lot of Bicksler entries in the deed books, and this information will help narrow the search. Debbie
