Thank you very much for your posting. This is interesting news to me because I had been led to believe by Connie Stuntz and other historians, and the book "This Was Vienna," that "Springfield" had been demolished.
Capt. Charles Broadwater, who camed to Virginia in 1715 and received the 1701 acres land grant, married my ancestor, Elizabeth Semmes Turley West. He was one of the first five vestrymen of Truro Parish and died in 1733, so ife "Springfield Manor" was erected in 1750 by Charles Broadwater (rather than his widow), it was erected by their son, Col. Charles Broadwater (1717-1806), 30 years old in 1750; vestryman, 1744-65, and Justice of Fairfax Co. beginning in 1749.
