Trying to determine if 4th reg't, detached from 60 Reg't, went outside VA during War of 1812. Discharge papers of my gggf, James Bodine show he was 240 miles from home and allowed 12 days for travel. This may mean that his family had already relocated to Sevier Co, TN. All leads will be honored.
