William King (i) was born in or before 1717 (at least 21 in 1738).
William King (i) bought the land of Joshua Hawks by 8 Aug 1738; Joshua Hawks received a patent on 3 Dec 1733 for land in Prince George Co VA (now in Dinwiddie Co VA) on the ridge between Hatchers and Gravelly Runs on both sides the upper Nottoway River, on Blyís/Bleyís line. This land was possibly neighboring the William Butler patent 19 Aug 1758, between lines of Andrew Hardy, Leroy Griffin, William King and his own. It was possibly neighboring land in the Isham Eppes patent 1 Mar 1743, at Thomas Nances, Joseph Butlers lines, to Jeffry (sic) Hauks back line, on Hatchers run near the mouth of Elbow branch, George Seagins, Mayess, to Joseph (sic) Hauks line next to Hatchers run, along Hauks and Bleys line. It was possibly neighboring land in the Daniel Seares patent 16 Jun 1743, at William Jonesís, to Isham Eppesís, to Haukes line, to Hatchers Run to Herberts, to James Williams, to William Jonesís. It was also possibly neighboring Thomas Williams, 30 Jul 1742, southside of Hatcherís Run, in Hatcherís line, Isham Eppes corner, Hawkesís line, Bleyís line, Butlerís line, John Browderís, Hudsonís.
William King (ii), son of Julian King (i) and Elizabeth King, was born 18 Oct 1742 in Bristol Parish VA; Julian King (i) was born before 1722 (estimated).
Julian King (i?) land - By 20 Jul 1745 and 20 Aug 1745 Julian King (i?) owned land in current-day Dinwiddie Co VA on the north side of Moccosoneck Creek (now Rowanty Creek) between Lows Branch and Peters Branch near Vaughanís Road, with close or adjoining neighbors surnamed Blick, Archer, Jones and Dearden alias Evans (reference Thomas Archer 20 Jul 1745, William Archer 20 Aug 1745 and Benjamin Blick 20 Aug 1745 patents in Prince George Co VA); the George Archer 14 Jul 1769 patent was for same land as Benjamin Blick (forfeited), but in Dinwiddie Co VA. The George Archer patent added the names James Baugh and Henry Vaughan as neighbors.
Dinwiddie Co VA was formed from part of Prince George Co VA in 1752.
Julian King (ii) was born before 1750 and he was in NC by 1771; he had a nephew Benjamin King of Petersburg, Dinwiddie Co VA, and a niece Mrs. Martha King Hawks; he was in Bute Co NC by 14 Aug 1771 when he witnessed a deed there; in 1782 and 1800, Julian King and Thomas King were in Nash Co NC; Julian King (ii) had a nephew Benjamin King of Petersburg, Dinwiddie Co VA; Julian King (ii) died in Nash Co NC before 11 May 1812.
John King Hawks, born in VA, son of Martha King and Mr. Hawks, was born about 1779 or born 1780-1790. His uncle Benjamin King of Petersburg, Dinwiddie Co VA, was probably a brother/nephew or son of Lewelling King of Dinwiddie Co VA.
