Sandy Henderson and I are searching for a connection between all the early Smith's in Giles/Craig to see if we can find the parents of James Smith. So far the early Smith's that we have found are: James b. abt 1798, married Elizabeth Lugar William born about 1805, married a Frances Susanna Smith born abt 1826, had maybe 5 children but doesn't seem to have been married, the last child George was born 1853 in Craig. Michael Smith born abt 1810 had a daughter Nancy. He may have been related to Susanna and both may have been related to a Mary Work Pine. If you can shed any light on these names I would really appreciate it. It is possible they are all related if we can find who the parts were. It's also possible they are not related at all. But its worth a try. Much appreciated. Sandy Carneiro pacshc@ce.net |
