I am looking for the descendants of Robert "Pat" HOOKER and Jathina T. LYON.

Robert "Pat" HOOKER was b. abt. 1857 in Patrick Co., VA, s/o Jesse HOOKER and Elizabeth "Betsy" ARRINGTON. Pat m. 7 Oct 1877 in Patrick Co., VA, Jathina T. LYON b. 16 Jan 1859 in Patrick Co., VA, d/o James "Dudley" LYON and Sarah/Sally PENDLETON.

Pat and Jathina had the following children:

Sarah J., b. 1878 in Patrick Co., VA
Bertha E., b. abt. 1883
Lura A., b. abt. 1885
James W., b. abt. 1889, m. Ola (?). Had a/d Gladys
Flora L., b. abt. 1890
Minnie M., b. abt. 1894, m. Joe MESSER
Bessie M., b. abt. 1896
Robert "Chester", b. abt 1899
John A., b. unk.
Jathina "Alma", b. unk.
and possible two other children, names and dobs unk

All children, except Sarah, were probably b. in Carroll or Grayson Co., VA. According to the 1900 census, they were living in Carroll Co., VA, and the 1910 census in Fries, Grayson Co., VA.

I am interested in this family because Jathina T. LYON was an older sister of my great-grandfather, James "Rufus" LYON. Jathina's other siblings were Euel G., b. 1853 on Jack's Creek (near Woolwine), Patrick Co., VA, and Lucinda "Jane", b. 1856 in Patrick Co., VA. Apparently Euel died at a young age because he is not shown in any census after 1860. Jane m. James Powhatan "Pow" WILLIAMS and had two children. Rufus m. Frances Ellender "Fannie" GOODE; they had six children: William Simpson; Everlena Jane "Lena"; Lucinda Tucker (presumably named after Rufus' two sisters)--Lucindy died at age 12 yrs. from complications from diabetes; James Elma "Elmer"; Albert Jonas Dudley (my grandfather); and Novia Gay.

Chester HOOKER met Elmer LYON sometime in the late 1960s or early 1970s after a Primitive Baptist Association Meeting at Jack's Creek Primitive Baptist Church near Woolwine, VA. They visited for a long while after this meeting.

Also, Jathina's father, James Dudley LYON, was conscripted in 1861 and was captured at the Battle of Seven Pines/Fair Oaks. He was sent to Ft. Delaware, Delaware, where he died. He is buried at Finn's Point National Cemetery in New Jersey. Her mother, Sarah/Sally, died from measles during the war, as probably did Euel.

Any information regarding the HOOKER family and their descendants would be greatly appreciated.
