Jean, there is a Revolutionary War pension file (S. 6450) for a Robert Wright. He appeared in Caroline court on 8 October 1832 and made a declaration in support of his pension application. He swore that "I was born raised & educated in the County of Carolina where I have lived all my life." He also states that in the year 1778 he was drafted for 3 months in this County into the Army of the American Revolution. He first served in a company of militia from the county under Capt Joseph Richerson. The handwriting is not clear but it seems he served other tours under a Capt ???, then Capt Wm. Marshall, then Capt. Broaddus?
I did not spot the other men in the quick search I made of the records.
