Hi Elaine,

Thank you for your generous offer to do look-ups. Those of us who live a long ways from Caroline Co, like me, especially appreciate your kindness!

Right now, I am researching two families out of Caroline Co - CLARK(E) and CALLAN (or any variation thereof: Callawn, Collawn, Collaun, Callaun, etc...). As for my Clark(e)s, my gggg grandfather, Robert Clarke (1799-1853), was born in Caroline Co (as per his death record). He relocated to King George Co sometime before 1820. I am still (**sigh**) trying to ascertain the identity of Robert's parents. I would be curious if you see any Clark(e)s in your book, from say 1790-1810.

As for the Callans, I would be interested in hearing about any and all Callans from 1765-1825. My gggg grandmother Sarah M. Callan was born in the 1790s -- possibly to William Collawn, who was born in 1775 and who died after 1850, in Caroline Co. William is the only Collawn household I see in the 1810 census report for Caroline Co. I'm trying to confirm or disprove my theory about William Collawn being Sarah's dad.

Thanks, again, Elaine!

Regards,

Cheryl
