WILLIAM A. TIPTON, b. 1839 in VA. HE married NANCY JANE HOARD, 1859 in Talladega Co., AL. On the 1900 AL Census he stated that his father was b. in VA and his mother in TN. Then on his death cert. father is listed as ISAAC TIPTON,b .in VA and mother UNKNOWN> Who was WILLIAM's mother? anything on his father? Thanks jlh
