Obituary from Virginia Mountaineer, Thursday, April 3, 1969 edition
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Walter Watson, 49, of Mouthcard, Ky., who was found dead in his room at Grundy Hotel last Thursday evening, victim of an apparent heart attack.
Services were held at the lat ehome, with Rev. Willie Compton officiating. Burial was in the Hackney Cemetery at Mouthcard. Grundy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Eialpha Spencer Watson, seven sons, Gene David, Jimmy and Richard Watson all of Chicago, Il., Ronnie Watson of Columbus, Ohio and Michael, Gery and Rodney Watson at home' five daughters, Mrs. Louise Dotson of Pinson Fork, Ky.; Mrs. Ollie Rowe of Chicago,and Margaret, Shelby and Jeannette Watson all at home. two brothers, Frant Watson of Mansfield, Ohio and Wilbert Watson of Breaks and three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Ramey and Mrs. Ida Ramey both of Mouthcard and Mrs. Alice Swiney of Elkhorn City, Ky.

The Virginia Mountaineer is Thursday editions, on sale within the county usually on Wednesday, with notifications of the issue deadlined for Monday afternoon.....As far as I know this is still the way it is. Good Luck.
