Proof of their marriage is found in a December, 1827 Brunswick Co., VA chancery court action brought by them, as husband and wife, against Nancy's siblings, Martha "Patsy" Tudor, Robert Tudor, John Tudor, Matthew C. Tudor, and the heirs and devisees of Landon Tudor, for the sale of their late father's 81-acre farm in Brunswick Co., VA. The court appointed commissioners to sell the farm. By mid-1828, they had sold the farm to William Brewer.
