I'm not 100% sure, but the Thomas Jackson you are trying to find may have been the son of Williams Jackson and his wife Sarah "Mary" Burton, daughter of John Burton and Elizabeth Fowler. Williams left property to a son Thomas Jackson. Williams Jackson was born abt 1690 in Charles City Co.,Va and died in 1739 in Henrico Co.,VA. He had property in both Amelia and Henrico Counties. According to my notes (that came from others) Thomas received the houses, plantation and orchard on the north side of Swift Creek also 50 acres lying along Licking Creek. He sold the land on the south side of Swift Creek to his uncle Ralph Jackson in 1748 and the land on the north side to George Cogbill. Thomas settled in Nottoway Parish in about 1790. His will was recorded in Prince Edward County ,Va in 1791. I have much information on the Jackson family- but this is all I have on Thomas Jackson.
