Hello all, Having been to the Bird forum, I realize that there are/were lots of Bird lines in Utah! I'm trying to track down 1 lone girl, so that I might discover any descendents. She was Louisa Bird, b. 1868 in Salt Lake City. She is still in the Salt Lake census in 1880, listed with parents, James and Elizebeth Bird, and siblings Montgomery, Charles, and Ronold. The parents seem to be native of England and France, respectively, with all the children b. in Utah. By the 1900 census, Louisa has married George Frederick Gasser, and they are living in Pocatello, Bannock Co., Idaho. Living with Louisa and George is their son, Ivan Gasser, b. 2/1894, in Idaho, and also a sister of George, and Louisa's brother, Montgomery. Anyone here recognize this family of Bird? Thanks, Patty Gasser Jurkiewicz |
