I have some information gathered by a distant cousin about Edward Waters to Rosanna Waters who married John Farrow . She published a book that I have a copy of and would be happy to share the information there is. There are only a few pages. the book is: A Genealogical History of the Farrow, Nelson and Related Families - By Mary Cloyd Howe Farrow Published in 1972 Edward Waters -Gentleman and Armiger, was born in England in 1568 and died at Great Hornmead, Hertfordshire, England (Virginia Historical Magazine, Vol. 1, pp. 92-93) He married Grace O'Neal (O'Niel) and mentions two children William and Margaret. Wiiliam Waters was born in Blount Point, VA - c. 1623 and died in 1687. He married Mrs George Clark (nee Margaret Robins)It says of the children the names of six boys are known but the names of the daughters have not been ascertained. 1)Richasrd, 2)John, 3)Edward, 4)Thomas, 5)Obedience, and 6)William. ("The Waters and Kindred Families" by P.B. Waters: pub by Foote & Davies Co., Atlanta, GA, 1903, ch. 1, pp.15-16) There is more on (6)William,his childrens names, Philemon and Rosanna ,if you want or need it, I can get it to you. I don't have enough time to finish now. |
