I have found details of a marriage between Jean URIE and David MEIER, March 1809, Govan, Lanark. I believe they could be my 4xg-grandparents. They had a number of children including Arch MEIER, whose dates and place of birth appear to fit with those I have of Archibald MEYRE, from whom I am descended. Any information about the URIE connection would be appreciated! Sue Harding
