My grandmother, passed away at 91 last year. She was very proud to be a URE. Her mother and grandmother were both named Agnes Ure, both from Falkirk, Scotland, Both entered the USA through Ellis Island 1914 (?), settled in the Scottish section of Edison, NJ and finally moved to New England. Agnes Ure 2 was child of John Ure (1861-1914) and Agnes Hamilton Neil. Robert Ure (1823-1891)and Marion Currie were grandparents. All were from West Carron, Stirling,Falkirk. If you have or need information on this family I would like to hear from you.
