Unfortunately Jenny I can't give you Elizabeth's maiden name. I have just discovered Stephen Upson and am not sure yet if there is a direct link to him though I am researching UK Upsons. It would be great if you know Stephen's parents, birthplace, "whatever" that might help me place him in the UK before he emigrated to America.
