Potter, Effie, Daughter, aged 26, married once, 13 years, b. PA, father b. Illinois, mother b. PA, actress
Potter, Edith, Granddaughter, aged 8, b. Pennsylvania, parents b. same
It would be my opinion that Edith is Effie's daughter from a previous relationship -- if they were indeed married for 13 years in 1910, Effie would have been 13 at the time of the marriage. Note that Edith's father is noted as being born in Pennsylvania, not Australia.
William George was naturalized in New York in 1929, indicating that he was born in Collingwood, Australia on 10 August 1878; wife's name is Marion, born 3 December 1893 in England; an actor by profession; no children; immigrated to the US via Vancouver into San Francisco in 1898, and resided continuously in the State of New York since 1905.
You can search Cedar Grove Cemetery here:
There are two Ediths who died in 1924 buried in the cemetery, but not around the date you give. However, Effie is buried there, died on that date.
