The 1932 clip is an advertisement by an E. Friederici offering private French & German lessons. Residing at Mr. McClellan's hotel. In the 1952 clip, which is a history of the Gettsburg Gymnasium (later College), he is noted as a teacher at the prepartory department which was to be a regular department of the college for many years. Private arrangements were offered to study French under his instruction. The 1957 piece offers the same information as in 1952.
