Wilma After going thru the alphabetical list of surnames in EI site I found these for you to look at: Po'Kusycka, Anna Usznia, Austria 10 1904 1914 Po'Kusycka, Filimina Usznia, Austria 42 1872 1914 Po'Kusycka, Josef Usznia, Austria 16 1898 1914 Po'Kusycka, Marya Usznia, Austria 2 1912 1914 Po'Kusycka, Stefan Usznia, Austria 4 1910 1914 Pokusycki, Josef Usznia 18 1889 1907 Pokuticky, Franz Usznia 32 1871 1903 Pokutycka, Katarzyna Usznia, Austria 11 1902 1913 Pokutycka, Maria Usznia, Austria 16 1896 1912 Pokutyka, Kataryzyna Usznia, Austria 18 1893 1911 I would recommend Usznia's church records to solve the mystery of the ancestral surname. Not sure if you know but SKA, CKA is a female ending. Family went to family so the above being from the same village as your ancestors, it is possible they are related to each other.
