I am not familiar with researching in the Ukraine. I would like to know where the records would be held for Korolevo, what language they would be written in ca. 1868 to 1905 and suggestions on how to access them.
The information I have in USA is this: George Mooncotch [aka: MUNKACSI, per his son's petition for naturalization]
Surname: MUNKACSI, variations include Mooncotch & Moncatch in USA
Given Name: Gyorgy/George
DOB: abt. 1868, in Királyháza, Hungary - This is based on his last residence listed on the ship manifest when he immigrated to USA in 1904. He arrived on Ellis Island, Dec. 5, 1904, age 36.
DOD: May, 1928, in Illinois, USA
According to IL State Death & Stillborn Record, his father's name was John Mooncotch.

I am confused as to where I would find the records of his birth, parents, etc.
Hoping someone can offer guidance, please.

Thank you,
Denise Wranik McLoughlin
