Thank you so much for this information! It is so valuable to me. I received another reply today also. I think this article was referenced. Much of it is new information to me. I am very grateful that you took the time to translate it for me. It's sad that she died so young.
This article talks about the many people she met and at least she was able to be accepted into some circles and may have had a brief period of happiness.
I wonder where and how she died? I am planning to memorialize her in an art project, so I am very happy to know everything possible about her.
Elizabeth was usually said to be Russian, but in actuality she was born in Ukraine. Is that correct? My mothers family (Derbowka) originated in the Ukraine, from the town of Horodenka. So I am pleased I can feel a sort of connection to Elizabeth, through my roots
