Don H., Thanks for the input. This is confirmation that perhaps my time and effort to search every # within my database is going to locate the "BAD" entries I've made. If I'm lucky enough on the first pass of these 10,000 pages, perhaps the Fox Pro error will disappear. One question remains at this point having reviewed the Reserved Characters you pointed me to in Help. Would you interpret the / character as being one I should "NEVER" use? I'm assuming it is ok to use in dates I may transcribe. I do thank you for pointing me to this explanation!
