A W Gilmore's name was Alon Wilburn Gilmore. He was born Sept 22, 1915, not sure of state(poss LA or TX; on his SS Record near the number area is states Louisiana before 1951 but no number), but one time while talking to my mother in law(now deceased)who was born Ruby Marie Haney(SS Death info stated civil Mississippi born May 25, 1912 died Porter, Montgomery, Texas July 17, 1999), she said A W had been working for her father in Louisiana, he went to Texas for another job, so she went to Texas with her 2 girls to be with him. I am not sure which state they were married in. After their marriage, they had 2 children, a daughter Joyce and a son Glen(my son's father now deceased). A W died in the hospital in Conroe, Montgomery, Texas on September 3, 1986. When going to order the death certificate, one of the must fill out spaces was A W's parents. I do not know their names. I remember at the funeral, some of A W's brothers were in attendance, and I was told they lived in Cleveland, Texas area. Thank you for your response and for any help you may give. Regards, Sharon
