Am looking for ggfather information. Names that have been found are H G Williams, Henry G. Williams, Henry Garrison Williams, Henry Gannison Williams with nickname of Pat. Born poss in 1874 He appeared in 1898 in Wichita Falls, Wichita Co, Texas married Myrtle Bradley in Wichita at a Hotel. In 1900 census, Myrtle and first son are living with her parents, Henrietta, Clay Co., Texas with first son Alvie or Alva. Census indicates father was from Tennessee

There are several Henry Williams and H G Williams in surrounding counties in 1900 but have not been able to tie to GGF. He worked as driller during oil boom and also picked cotton over Texas border in Oklahoma, some areas Indian Territory at the time, not full counties.

Next appears in 1910 Census Petrolia, Clay Co., Texas as age 36. Info indicates that he was born in West Virginia (not TN)with both parents from WV also. He is with family at this time. Working in oilfield.

In 1920 Myrtle with children are in Graham, Carter Co, Oklahoma. HG not with them. Again census indicates father from TN.

I also have another source saying born in KY.

HG abandoned family between 1917 and 1923. Supposedly when left he went to Dallas. A son followed about two weeks after but he would not acknowledge him. After that there are no further verified sources. Henry and HG and Williams are common thus making search difficult.

DO not have a clue where he came from or where he went. Unsure if remarried, where he worked, where he lived or died.

Children included Alva (Alvie), Virginia, Barbara, Raymond Bradley (orig name Willie Bradley Williams), Bertha, H G Jr (who moved to Louisiana --am told family line all dead. At one time he lived in Shreveport), JC Williams, Lloyd Williams, and John.

Am looking for anyone with with Family lines to this man. Needle in haystack. Want to know so much more. There are medical reasons also we have documented. Would love to hear from someone. Thanks.
