Dear Michelle,
My name is Rita. My gggrandfather is from Texas and his name is William Morris. During those days they changed their names for different reasons...His father's name was Dr. Robert McCoy, the only Doctor at that time, in a little Central Texas Town called Rosebud, Texas. (Formally known as Mormon, Texas.)

Dr. McCoy had a wife named Claudia and she was from Cincinnati, Ohio. William also had a brother named Robert McCoy. The name he was born with was William McCoy and they migrated from Kentucky. He's on the 1930 Census in Lampasas, Texas with his wife Clara M. Morris. I think the M is for Mae.

My great grandmother's name is Ella L.(Elouise) Morris and her twin Brother's name is Harold.. Harold has a daughter named Dolores, who lives is Southern California. I'm not sure if this helps but I hope this is a connection. He passed at the age of 19. My great grandmother, Mrs. Elouise Morris-Westbrook passed September 13, 2011. She was 96 years young and did great things for many people. The twins were born in 1915.
