John and Mary Jane Phillips Lawler had a son Thomas A. Lawler. Mary Jane was the daughter of Thomas Phillips. Thomas Lawler had several children, two being Will A. Lawler (my husband's great grandfather) and Charley Elbert Lawler. I found Will and Charley's WWI draft registration info. online, and under nationality, they both marked Indian and White. Their half brothers only marked white. Is there any Indian heritage in this family? Also, does anyone have any other info. on Mary Jane? I know she died in Texas. I am just so curious that the two full blood brothers appear to be Indian and White. Could somebody shed some light on this for me.
