Hello,

I am still researching my WEBB family from Wood Co., especially those from near Hawkins. FRANK Webb was born LEWIS FRANKLIN WEBB in Wood County. He married first to FANNIE MINSHEW in 1895. They had a son named ROBERT FRANK(called Frank Jr.) WEBB in 1900 and a daughter named OLA MAE WEBB in 1903. Fannie died in 1905. Frank Sr. remarried in 1906 to MAUDE TURNLINGTON, the 18 year old adopted daughter of the Rev. Reuben Stapler. Frank and Maude had six children: MATTIE LADONIA (Donie), CLARENCE RUSSELL (Buster), RAYMOND LEROY (called Leroy), WOODROW WILSON, LUDINA LOUISE (called Ludie or Lou), and SAMUEL BRUCE (called Sam). Most of these children married, except perhaps Leroy and Woodrow. Most of those who married also had children. Yet I have been unable to locate or contact any of the descendants. I would be so very grateful for any information about any of the people mentioned above or about any of their descendants. My grandmother Ola Mae Webb Peek and her brother Woodrow passed away in 1975. The other sons had passed away by 1981. I do not know about Donie or Ludina. I don't even know their married names, which might help me greatly to find them. I would be so very grateful just for remembrances or descriptions of any of these folks. Some might remember that Woodrow Webb was the Iceman in Hawkins, and had an Ice house near the railroad tracks for many years. My mother told us he delivered block ice in a wagon to begin with. I have photos to share with family, photos of the Webbs, and I've done a lot of research and have lots to share about their ancestry. Please contact me. Thanks, Diana
