My great grand parents are in the 1900 Wood County Census. William Earnest b.1866 in Florida Annie Edwards Earnest b. 1871 in Florida Ben Earnest son b. 1896 in Alabama Rubie daughter b. 1900 Texas. They were renting a farm .I don't know what town it just has a PCT number. By 1910 they were gone. What I am trying to find out is why they were there. Did they have family there? I find no other Earnest listed there. I did find 2 Edwards there and checked them out but could find no connection to them. Please if there is anyone who might be able to shed any light on this family I would be thrilled. I cannot find any trace of William or Annie Edwards Earnest before 1900 Wood County Texas.
