Lake Fork reservoir was created by building a dam on Lake Fork creek west of Quitman. I have a copy of the CD "Texas Original Land Owner County Maps and Land Abstract Indices" published by Mike Taylor in November 2001. In a quick look at the map for Wood County, I found two pieces of property for HMC Hall, both located north of Alba, Texas. If you need more detail, send me an e-mail and I'll see what I can find for you.
