Martha H. Jones, wife of Michael Davis, was a dau. of Evan W. Jones and his 2nd wife, Lydia Rollins. I descend from Evan and his first wife. Martha was b. June 3, 1827, Miami Co., OH. She md. Michael Davis, Jan. 2, 1845, Champaign Co., IL. These families are in my WILKINSON / RUTHERFORD Family File accessed from my website, Coming Together in America, at http://hometown.aol.com/wilenesmth/index.html How did you learn that Martha's middle name was Hollis? That sounds like a surname, but I can't connect it to anyone, so I'm quite curious. So far, I have 6 children for her, so I'm still missing 2. Can you fill those in for me? Do you know when and where Michael and Martha died? The last I've found of them is the 1880 Dallas Co., TX, census. At this point in time, I've found limited information on their daughters Susan (md. Henry Anderson) and Sarah "Sally" (md. A.C. Fox) and sons Lansing Hudson, George M., and Everett Thomas, and have a long way to go before completing this family.
