I am trying to find ??? Williams ( need his first name ) who may have married Lillie J. Ward..(she was around 15 or 16 years old).. somewhere between 1923 -1930... Mr. Williams is said to have been a Barber down in the Willacy County area.. maybe Lyford, or Raymondville, or some other surrounding area... together they had a child born April 29, 1927.(Naomi Ruth Williams) supposedly in Lyford, TX but I find no written record of her birth. ..Mr. Williams is said to have been born in Tenn. but do not know when or where.. and he is said to have been older than Lillie Ward..(she was born in Oklahoma in 1909..) It is said that the family ( Current's, Teater's, and Ward's...) did not like the idea of Lillie being with such and older man... that they may have made her come back home..... If anyone has any information that will lead me to Mr. Williams... please let me know...he is my husband's grandfather... my email is judy_lairson2000@yahoo.com Thank You...
