I would like more information for a William Goodwin Coleman (b.1823 AL d.1891 TX) and family from the 1860's to 1910's in central Texas.

Census indicates that he had land in the Subdivision no. 2. He is buried in Mustang cemetry with his wife Cornelia S. (Mullins) Coleman. They had 12 children, my husbands grand father was Robert Lee Coleman 1879 - 1946.

Jeff m. Fannie s. Reeves
James Simpton m. Lottie V. Wells
Charlie J. m. Lela Durham

Robert Lee m. Martha Johnson **
Eddie Coleman
Nora m. James Henderson
Lillie (Tombstone "LILAR")
Eva m. Jim Love

** family line

I do have several pieces of information for the land that was owned and the Taxes paid on this land from 1880 about 250 acers in the sub. div 2: near ghost town with a post office called Goshen, TX. Taxes paid for these years: 1880, 1890 and 1891. Widow Cornelia S. paid in 1892.

Question 1: How do I find out where SUB. DIV. 2 is with a post office listed as Goshen in the Census. What are the boundries.

Question 2: Would it be likely that he lived at a different location than his property since it was over 20 miles from were he is buried in Mustang Cemetery. His oldest daughter lived near Shiro, in Grimes Co., TX. She is also buried at Mustang Cemetry it is located on the Grimes / Walker Border.

Any additional info would be helpful.

Thanks........
