Seeking information on Kibbe,Tomkin, and Breeden families of Victoria County, Texas.
Johanna Booth, born August 20, 1809 in Georgia (daughter of Reuben Booth and Mary Moss) married Charles Kibbe on Feb. 4, 1830 in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. They moved to Texas in 1850 and he contracted pneumonia while crossing the Sabine River. He died on Nov. 20, 1850 at the home of Mrs. Green in Tyler County, Texas and he is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Victoria, Texas. His widow, Johanna Booth Kibbe married Silas P. Tomkin on May 22, 1853 in Victoria, Texas. Died Feb. 20, 1864 in Victoria County, Texas and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Did Johanna and Silas have any children? Did Johanna and Charles Kibbe have any children?

Charles Kibbe had a sister, Mary Elvina Kibbe, born March 16, 1833 in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, who married Paul Hamilton Breeden on Oct. 22, 1857 in Victoria, Texas. Need information on their descendants.

Also, Charles Kibbe had a brother, Robert Perry Kibbe, born Feb. 8, 1846 in Abbeville, Louisiana, who married Sue E. Moore on Feb. 11, 1869 in Goliad, Texas. Died Jan. 24, 1903 in San Antonio. Did they have any children?

I need this information for a Pledge genealogy which I am compiling. Johanna Both descends from the Moss family of Virginia which descends from the Pledge family of Virginia.
